To people understanding Korean /or a good ear for the language: how is the accent of the actors? I've just started a korean language course and looking for some resources to study... I like this drama quite a lot and would like to use it for referencing for pronunciation, but I remember that the area the story is located is quite infamous for the accent... any advice?

Frank'n'Stein Korean native here. In case regional dialect, only grandma and grandpa speak Jeju dialect and rest of the character doesn’t really have any accent. I remember whole family (except grandparents) spent majority of their lives in Seoul and came back to Jeju to start a new life there. I guess this was the writer’s way to reflect generation gap that are actually happening in Korea.
