Kyung Wha Chung plays Bach concerto for Violin & Oboe (1982)

In 1982, BBC Scotland invited Ms Chung to perform all four JS Bach violin concertos at the Queen's Hall, Edinburgh, which was later aired over 4 weekends.
Here she performs concerto for violin & oboe in C minor BWV1060 with Heinz Holliger and the Scottish Chamber orchestra conducted by Trevor Pinnock from the keyboard.

There is no studio recording of this performance correct? Just a TV broadcast? I wish this was recorded.

Unfortunately just this broadcast. I'm sure the original copy in BBC archive should sound much cleaner than in the copy I have from a VHS tape. Ms Chung had a plan to record Bach concertos in 2005, but it was cancelled due to her finger injury.

There are two versions. But the one in c minor is played more. It sounds way nicer on the oboe.

@@mlasch3764 Why would you think that it sounds nicer? I never heard it ever played in C minor on the oboe...well aware of the 2 versions but this version is played in D minor but the video declares it's in C minor.
