1997 marked Kyung-Wha Chung's 30th anniversary of her international debut. She celebrated the occasion with a series of concerts in her homeland, the UK and Japan. A part of the program was playing with and conducting the chamber orchestra she organized herself for the occasion, a format she had already tried in the early 80's.
Later in the same year, she brought back the program in Seoul, Korea, specially for the younger audience with much lower ticket price than usual. This video records the concert.
Here, she's playing Bach's second violin concerto in E major, BWV1042.
