i think it would be a really cool type series to do an island that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also easy to maneuver and play the game in terms of catching stuff and seeing villagers and stuff that isn’t just decorating. there are so many dream islands that are so beautiful but so hard to get around and that’s the part that makes decorating so difficult for me

Just finished and it's one of my favorite builds I've seen in a long time. So inspiring. I think a phone box would look really nice on your lookout area. Can imagine the villagers walking up the hill to make their phone calls while looking over the neighborhood.

@@matthewwisdom4731 pick up a lost item and keep it in your inventory for a few days. dont return it!!! then once youve kept it in ur inventory long enough it will now be called 'what was this again?' instead of 'lost item'. now u can drop it :D

It's really cute, but if I may be so honest for a second: every time you went, "I don't want to overdo it", a part of me withered away. For me, the end result happens to be too much, my eyes find no resting space because of all the different patterns and almost every square being covered with something. It suits your theme very well and works great for stills, but I had to start looking away at some points during the build, because it was too much visual input for me with no place to rest my eyes. That's me though, and I know a lot of people have no problems with that! I really dig the whole sunken neighbourhood idea though, and your sense of space and imagination is amazing. It's inspiring.

@@figueroth it's probably not the fact that there is stones, flowers, and trees, it's the amount that's there - there's no place for your eyes to rest. It can be stressful and overwhelming for some people.

This was really good inspiration thank you! I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with the open space I have just before the cliffs to my house. I think I’m going to put a flower meadow there and then an overlook like you have which, going down leads to this kind of sunken housing layout. Which includes the overlook and the housing which I wanted.

Pick weeds = replant weeds where you want them = problem solved If you're looking for a particular type of weed (i.e. tall fluffy ones) just pick and replant until you get the one you want

Definitely gives me ideas if I ever wanted to do a different type of island (not happening without a 2nd switch), but I was just internally raging at the couple spots where you didn't fossil-spawn-proof on the hard cliff corner behind blair's house, or hidden right up against the down cliff in the front. Plus, there's a center tile at the bottom of the cobblestone on the lookout by the cedar tree. I spent half the video wondering "Is she gonna notice yet?". The build really does look lovely though, I should make more use of young trees and the destination sign.

debating rearranging my map a bit, with the free update content i want all my villagers to be more put together, and i only terraformed everything after i had all the houses placed already so i was working around them instead of with them… plus if i move them ill be able to clean up all my waterways. my island is mostly just a mess of ponds lakes streams and rivers since i wanted a aesthetic kind of like that one village from ffx. might put all my villagers on the northeast corner in a tiered neighborhood… already have two of them in that area w the flower field and the orchard, so i wouldnt have to move Everyone… thank fick ive already made my rock garden otherwise this would be even more difficult lollo
