The song is about a girl who constantly wears a smile despite the fact that she is in constant pain. She is afraid of people finding out that her smile is fake and she just wants to be happy. In the end she wishes someone would save her, but there's no one and so... she ends her pain. Iyowa's April fools video (no longer available on their channel) has a segment where Kurari (the girl in the song) says "nevermind, it's nothing. I'll see you tomorrow" while walking home after school. This is probably before she puts an end to her misery. According to most people, the song is based on the character of Sayori from an indie horror game called doki doki literature club.
