Kyuzo's death was like a cliffhanger, like it left a bittersweet feeling at the end of samurai 7. I had the feeling he'd die more on a honorable way than this, anyways I wanted him to be alive!

It's 2024 and I'm still in love with this anime. I always have keen interests in any character wielding dual swords be it from anime, game, movie or novel all thanks to Kyuzu. He was probably the most handsome and stylish among all the 7 samurais and his movements and sword play was a thing of beauty. It's a shame he couldn't finish his duel with Kambei. Being an artist myself, I'm on my way to create a similar character with dual swords for my upcoming graphic novel as tribute to this amazing anime/movie character, Kyuzu.

Excellent! You have infused the two best elements of Samurai 7 - the wonderful action sequences (especially those featuring Kyuzo) and the song Unlimited. Kyuzo is just one of those characters that you really want to know more about - especially regarding his comment "to live." So mysterious like Yondaime in Naruto and Urahara in Bleach. Thanks!

@judeelizalde I consider Katsushiro to be the murderer of Gorobei, Heihachi, and Kyuuzou. He was in the middle of all of their deaths. Those were my favorite characters...

Great video. Man, I know it was an accident, but DAMN IT katshiro did you really have to kill Kyuzo? Kyuzo was my fav. character form Samurai 7, then Katshiro. Kyuzo was arguably the strongest/most skilled samurai there, tied with Kambei. I wonder who would of won ther rematch, if there he had survived.

Kyuzo was the strongest. kambei was like the second one but kambei is a strategist but he said that Kyuzo would win if they fight for real. in the original movie it was also stated that Kyuzo was the best of the 7 samurais don't get me wrong they are all strong but kyuzo is the OP in the team LOL

Kambei would win if he fought Kyuzo in his prime and is equipped with 2 sword. Kambei fought almost evenly with Kyuzo despite only having 1 sword and was already past his prime. Prime Kambei could slice an entire space ship and several Mechas in the blink of an eye but the current Kambei couldn't even defeat a a single Mecha.

@@evangelinea.k.mcdowell82 No. Even Kambei stated that if he was in his prime he wouldn't know who would win. In the old movie they stated that kyuzo was just the best swordsman. In fact he was considered the supremely skilled swordsman.

Recuerdo que en Animax pude verlo casi completo y termine odiando a Katsushiro y Kirara, después de muchos años he podido verlo denuevo y al llegar nuevamente al final me di cuenta de que realmente la guerra es así, todas las historias no pueden tener un final feliz y esa es realmente la enseñanza que deja Samurai 7.

It was not Katsushiro's fault, it was the gun he was using. It can be notice that earlyer in the show when Kambei confronts the former emperor. The bandits were about to kill him but Kambei told them go ahead and shoot him but where do you think bullets will end once they go through him.
