@@zeoz911 Kyuzo fought an old Kambei. Prime Kambei can slash battleships, Kyuzo couldn't do that. Present Kambei had trouble dealing with Mechas. It's obvious prime Kambei is so much stronger than Kyuzo. Also Kambei fought Kyuzo with only 1 sword. If they were both single wielding or dual wielding then it would have at least been a draw. Kyuzo also tried doing dirty moves in a sword fight like adding kicks. It's like when a Boxer does kicking moves in a boxing match, it's disgraceful.

He cut those giants samurai robots like if they were nothing. #2 What the hell is that? That's their fighting style. If i use your logic then i could say ohh if kyuzo had a gun. Boxers don't do kicking moves in boxing match. That's kickboxing. I got your point tho, but you need to consider something those were two men trying to kill each other with swords. There's no such thing as disgraceful or dirty moves in a situation like that. Last but not least in the original move Kyuzo was stated several times as the best swordsman, Kambei is easily the second but he really shines thanks to his tactics and strategy but as a swordsman Kyuzo is #1. Now if you don't like it. It's ok. Move on.

@@zeoz911 Kyuzo never sliced any space battleships so there is NO proof Kyuzo can. We know damn well that Kambei have been significantly weaker and is well past his prime. The series pretty much made it clear throughout the series. Prime Kambei was slicing Mechas better and faster than any way compared to what Kyuzo did to them. Kambei at the present time got injured fighting against a Mecha. The power difference between prime Kambei and present Kambei is too huge to ignore. Also yes, Kyuzo kicking Kambei's arm in a fucking Sword Duel is a cheap and dirty move. He might as well low blow Kambei while they're at it. You can't deny that they were pretty even in sword skills despite the fact that Kambei is only weilding 1 sword, is well past his prime, and Kyuzo got the upper hand once he started doing cheap dirty moves in a sword fight. The only downside is Kambei got tired quickly and would lose if the fight still went much longer as he was catching his breath and gassing out but that was mostly a stamina issue. This same scenario would not happen with a prime Kambei fighting Kyuzo. Also stop using the live Movie as reference, this is the Anime. It has a different plot and different story. It doesn't fucking matter.

I can't remember how many times I have watched this fight...this is anime at it's finest. You can see the moments that Kanbei suprises Kyuzo with his mastery and at the same time, you get to see Kyuzo's character as he quickly gets back to the fight , testing Kanbei with each blow. Awesome!!

Also Kambei could have kept the fight going, but being past his prime and wasting time, gave the fight to Kyuzo, knowing he'd also lose as well, but felt like he can't die just yet, saying we'll finish it another time
