I had the DQ6 silver/clear. How I wish they had this colour for DQ6S... OK, black is mandatory, but they gone with that weird rosegold and let the clear out.

Its just because you dont have dq6s. I gave my dq6 to my cousin since the gap between two are quite a lot

I didn't know they made the S model and yesterday i've got the DQ6 i like the bass but yeah the peak sometimes its to harsh and first thing what's need to be done with those is changing bud tips i did tried playing around with the EQ settings and it helps but for 25 $ i think they are good now i'm waiting for my other ones KZ EDX PRO , KZ ZSN PRO , KZ ZS10 PRO

EQ does help a lot.

If you have a decent sounding EQ with at least 10bands, careful sculpting of frequencies can a lot of times solve problems, but also keep in mind just having a EQ on does alter the overall sound and dynamics. My current favorite is the KZ CRN with final e-type tips and heavily EQed(mostly around 2k~8k area and a bit of bass bump).

Maybe it's because I had tips on hand but I found the tuning not sibilant at all. Tuned better than the Blon. Better than any KZ. Maybe it was my tips. 🤷‍♂️ I had Tin T2 gray silicone tips. Those are excellent though.

Close the noozle hole with microtape and let only 10% uncovered, works perfect for me

Unless I got a Mele with QC issues I think the KZ DQ6S is better than the Mele, Blon, and T2.

Sorry to be that guy, but since your listening preferences are similar to mine (half electronic and half a variety of genres) what IEMs would you recommend to cover well all that? I have S12, I love it, but will have to return them, so I am now looking for a replacement, but Timeless is maybe a bit too expensive for me. Anything else that comes close?

S12 seems better than timeless. I have timeless and they are not extraordinary compared to other iems in my small humble collection. Now the community is hyping S12. Please do some research before you return. They are saying with EQ, s12 can be the best bassiest iem in the world.

@@VortexReviews1 im scared with KZ ... few months ago i getbthe ESX at one month stop the left side stop play i buy it again but the 2 iem esx ..dont sound the same and have much more uppermids and treble at 4 5 k the worst of all they dont get loud volume like my .first pair ... esx My 10pro x stop working the left side .. and all others kz iem are ok but ..i dont know finally what happening one day maybe stop working and the others
