KZ Krila. Will this Cheapie beat a $1000 IEM?

KZ says that the Krila is a kilobuck beater and will obliterate IEM that is USD $1000.
All I know is that it's KZ. Lets see if the KZ can best the latest Moondrops, Simgot and whatnot.

They were not decorative. No one puts a driver in and then doesn't use it, you don't save money, they sell si gle dds as well, people just like hyping negatives. The drivers were reverse polarity to clean up the sound in certain frequencies. The guy who started the scandal withdrew the accusations.

This is really good for 20 dollars. the soundstage is big as the 7hz zero(biggest i heard in the budget) department. and imaging is really good. best i heard in 20-30 dollar deparmtent. I'd say it compare to 40-50 dollar sets like the cadenza and ew200.

Cadenza doesn't stand a chance. But I think EW200 will please most people because there aren't any timbral issues

does it give lossless hi res audio when connected with a usb hi res dac like a ifi go link dac

Good question! Firstly, you need to makes sure that your songs are lossless. Currently, Tidal and Apple Music support lossless. Secondly, Hi-Res Audio really does not mean anything. Almost all DACs these days can achieve the standards that it requires for certification.

Prefer the old drivers from kz. They bloated but they sound better and thick than the new ones. They should get thicker tone dd. I gave away 17 iem from kz after last time I check all their ba drivers and non was doing nothing there.

I know what you mean. I just found it amusing that KZ tried to pus these as $1000 IEM beaters. They sound decent in its own price category but for sure not $1000 great. Maybe at best $30 buck.
