You’re such a unique and creative reactor, Tre! I’m a Filipina who loves musicals and the theatre. I enjoy your appreciation for theatrics and the nuances of making a song one’s own. I also loved seeing your physical reaction to KZ. She is a treasure and I wish more of the world gets to know her to enjoy her incredible talents. I’m also a Dimash “dear”. I think both Dimash and KZ pour their entire being into each performance for the sheer joy of it and we are drawn into their performances by their authenticity and commitment to perfection. Blessings to you. I recommend that you check out KZ’s rendition of “Anak” - a classic Filipino composition that’s very moving. She also performed it with a guitarist at The Singer competition in China - she sang it in both Tagalog and Mandarin.

I've been rewatching her performances of this song and bingeing reaction videos to it and I just can't get enough. I've been a huge music nerd my whole life and felt the thrill of a lot of amazing live performances with big ensembles, so I know that magic well ... and I honestly don't think it's hyperbolic to say that this specific performance is one of the all time best live music performances by any human. The way the arrangement perfectly suits her, her delivery, her musical skill, the audience chemistry, everything about it is just effing unreal. She's incredible. Truly an icon. And I'm so glad she's not a one trick pony and has other great covers out there, because the world needs much, much more of her.

When I saw her auditioned for x- factor with her tomboy styles,judges asked her, why she was there, she said,she loves to sing and she wants to prove it not just for gorgeous, tall ,with no blemishes on their skin!
