I'm with you about the effect in the intro, the first time i ever watched this, i too was stunned and a little put off but I loved her performance so much (from the jump) I had to go back and re-watch this performance. And i could not imagine that intro without the "vocal effect." The whole arrangement was amazing (which by the way was 100% arranged by KZ!) but the vocal effect and adding the rap transformed the song! This lady is dope! She is the master of "arranging" a song, singing in multi-genres, creativity, artistic...and to top it off, when KZ is "feeling it" her live performances are 2nd to none!

All, as in all of KZ''s Singer 2018 performances are worth watching. I recommend her cover of Royals next. For her original songs I recommend her Wish Bus performances of Quicksand, Dodong (dedicated to her husband), and You'll See Miracles. The MV of her song 11:59 is a treat, you gotta check it out. I know you're not much into covers but KZ's covers are so exceptional.
