I happened to see this portion where KC was auditioning and i already concluded that she will be the grand winner and her voice will last a lifetime.. she made the song her own.. and i love the way she performs. It all with her heart and soul. She also won Your Face Sounds Familiar. And Mr. OVELA thank you for your great reactions on our Filipino singers.. Yes! I have been following her since this performance. I even voted for KZ during the finals that time. I watched her 'Your face Sounds Familiar' days as well as the other show where she coached 'O Diva!' in one of the celebrity music shows here in the Philippines. Ovela, as much as I was amazed at KZ's performance being her first time to audition at the X-Factor TV show, I was actually more amazed at how well you know these iconic Filipino singers, the likes of Gary Valenciano & Martin Nievera, as if you had been watching them on a regular basis. I know for a fact that you'd reacted to them a couple of times before but remembering their names, more so their label status, with spontaneity is in fact an amazing attribute of yours. I have watched this on TV. I was roommates with someone who knew her in college and we just had to see it when it was first shown. Despite being so great in this audition, i remember her always being the crowd and judges' favorite all through out the season. Plus she never had a negative comment. Hi Ovela, after rewatching this, I just realized her Tagalog rap in the audition has the same words as the rap she did for the song Rolling in the Deep at The Singer. Her rap here is a bit slower so the words are easier to catch. Such amazing poetry of strength and courage.

I saw that episode when it was aired and I felt like I am witnessing something magical and was mesmerized. I knew then she was going to win. An "ichigo ichie" - japanese for once in a lifetime. She was very good then and has only gotten better. She also mentioned that the dress was a loaner. She did not have anything to wear.
