I bought these, but I stopped using them after a few weeks because I always felt like I'd damaged my hearing afterwards. The treble and high end is pushed really far forward, but you often don't notice because the bass drowns a lot of those frequencies out, and that's not a good thing. After an hour or so of listening to rock and metal it felt like I had putty in my ears, and had been standing in front of the speakers at a gig when I took them out, but I didn't feel it while they were in my ears. I'm using an IEM with a flat response now, and while they're not as exciting, I can use them without worrying that I'm risking hearing loss.

After hearing about iem’s i bought a kzn but the bass was non existent. Bought another model and its the same problem. Do I have two duds? Seems unlikely. Quite inexplicable how people gush about them and the sound is just so tinny, not unlike a night market 3 dollar set. I need this cleared up asap, someone pleeease.

Hey thanks for reaching out to me! Very good question! I actually still have it and do occasionally use it. But there are a couple of things that I noticed over time that may discourage me or you in getting one. I'll just point out a few "cons" if I may. 1. It's somewhat slow to setup - especially in a time limited scenario eg. outdoors. More suited for slow in door work. 2. The app is useful, but if you try and use the finger to control the motion, it's not very easy. Means I have to set key points and markers and hit auto to carry out motions - again slow. 3. There's no on on switch on the hardware, means battery have to be taken out and installed each time. Again slow. 4. Although well made, it's quite heavy. Means it's quite an effort to take outside. Again limited to indoor work mostly (personal preference). 5. Great it has lots of firmware updates, but its annoying when you try and use it. Lucky it can be skipped, not in older app versions. 6. You have to use the app to control everything. Again more pairing, setup before taking a shot. Slows down process. I tried to take it outside for a car related shoot few days ago. I only had an hour and at the end, it's too long in a fast paced environment. :/ Although not deal breakers, now that I got to use it. I feel like these are the reasons that limit my use for it. I still have it as it provides excellent unique super smooth footage that can't be easily replicated handheld. But it does feel like a drag to use it each time - even if the footage looks amazing. It's a "Hate it and love it at the same time?" product. Hence I still have it, but don't use it as much as I want and want to sell it at the same time but can't give up the sliding look when I get the time to do so. 😅

I've had mine about a year. Just became my daily drivers as I lost a jabra earbud I loved. Got a bluetooth dac and good to go. Only complaint is I miss my old anc but bands at the bar I work out have to be pretty loud for me to notice my new lack of anc. I love these buds tho. For music gaming and video content.

@tysinner i have the jabra 10 elite gen 1 (I got another pair and stuck with gen 1 as jabra is done with earbuds now smh) i would say my kzs have better bass but maybe it's not as clean? If that makes sense? I think the kzs are all around better clearer, and louder than the jabras. I feel the only injustice the kzs do are for rock music especially if we are going back in time to how they recorded back in the day. I just feel it lacks sometimes or I'm expecting more, could just be me. Newer stuff not an issue. But a good dac can help with that. I know the audiophile world is big and beautiful but im afraid to spend money on other iems at this time in my life because of how much I like my kz. That's just me and my experience.

I love these. I was recommended the KZ ZS10 X Pro’s as my first IEMs and I was recommended the Antlion Audio Kimura Duo’s. The latter was more expensive but I felt the quality of the sound was lacking in comparison. The notes and bass felt like it had less punch on the attack for most percussive strikes and just less punch in everything overall sounding softer and more distant. I still love the KZ ZS10 x Pros but does anyone know a better IEM under the $120 price point with the same bass level and attack but less of that peaking effect on the highs? Idk audiophile jargon so I hope that makes sense. But like I love the hard attack and bass these have, but the really high notes feel like they peak/distort a bit and the vocals sound like theyre coming from behind me. I’m looking for something that sounds clearer and more “spatial” if that makes sense. Any recommendations are appreciated

@@JoeLamOfficial I am pretty sure, that @KennyRain is just bashing on KZ like many people in the ChiFi community. Popularity makes enemies. The KZ ZS10 pro X are absolutely fine, not the best, like moondrop has some very compelling offerings, or 7Hz, but they hold a spot on their own as they were the first pair of chinese IEMs that got very popular in the West. I would recommend checking out the Moondrop Arias. A little more expensive, single driver but more oriented at a natural sounding playback and a wider soundstage.
