I wish i'll get to see another kz CS 1.6 video. Last time i was on the day with the videos was when the gta3 speedruns were out and i remember this channel was one of the milestones that helped me procastinate my depression away. On the topic of speedrunners thinking of games differently. Does speedrunning games make you enjoy them more or less?

Some people say that if you speedrun a game, you'll learn to hate it. Nonsense. Absolute nonsense. I love the games I speedrun. That doesn't mean I don't get frustrated with them sometimes, but it's not speedrunning or the game I really get upset at. It's my own gameplay, or my thoughts, or habits, or whatever. I think any enjoyment, or lack thereof, is entirely on the player's shoulders. Speedrunning is a medium of enjoyment, expression, and mastery. It's like a blank canvas that you can paint on. Whatever you paint, and how you paint it, is up to you.

Thanks for asking! This is a save icon warp. If you notice, the save menu comes up when I enter the Starfish Island zone. To show off how this happened, we actually have to go back all the way to 37:01 -- you'll notice I'm taking a phone call, and I run over the location of the save icon here, and make a quick replay. Now, skip ahead to 40:44 and you'll see me play that replay I made. You don't see the save icon in the replay, and I actually comment on this, worried about if the warp would work. Basically, when you interact with a save icon, it warps you to a location and brings up the save menu. However, this only happens if you're in the same zone as the save icon. So, when I "picked up" the mansion save icon, nothing happened -- because it's in Starfish Island, and I'm in Little Havana. So, when I finally return to Starfish Island at 50:16, the save menu pops up and I'm warped right outside the final mission marker. You'll notice the same thing happening during 43:18 and beyond. I made a "save replay" over the Printworks save icon, and warp to it using that replay. It's instant, because I'm in the same zone. The save menu doesn't pop up, though; it seems to only pop up if you're on foot, and not on a bike or something.

There is a specific glitch which allows to duplicate properties to faster reach the end part of the game. It saves a significant amount of time, but it crashes on every vice city version EXCEPT japanese.
