KZN | Three suspects shot dead in Inanda: Lt Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi weighs in

Police in Durban say three suspects who were wanted for a string of murders, including the 2023 murder of a police sergeant, have been shot and killed in an exchange of fire with officers at the Congo area of Inanda. Police say in a statement that a multidisciplinary team as well as private security acted on intelligence. When the team arrived four suspects opened fire. After the shootout, three suspects were found to have sustained fatal wounds. The fourth suspect fled the scene and is on the run. Here's KZN's Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
