At 5:05 you said, at frequency fc the circuit will provide highest impedance and lowest resistance. That's a bit confusing(1). Also I read somewhere that these circuits provide current amplification. The RF Amplifier circuits use parallel LC circuits. At resonant frequency such circuits provide highest impedance and lowest current. How can it amplify the current when the current is lowest (2)? Can you please elaborate on these two points ?

This is only an LC bandpass filter and it will let pass the signals within the range frequency F1-F2. When the LC circuit is resonating, reactances inductive and capacitive will cancel each other remaining only the real impedance. This means that at fc, the impedance is pure real in theory and it will exhibit the lowest impedance. What you saw was a matching network, which is a passive circuit used to change impedances. Basically, RF amplifiers use this circuit to match the amplifier to the load or source impedance and get the maximum transfer of power in theory. The topology for the matching network might be an LC or Pi-network or T network. The selection of the topology will be based on the bandwidth requirements. I hope this helps little bit.....
