Just want to highlight that continuous allocation does not mean that the different processes are allocated the memory in a continuous fashion i.e. if P1 if given a block of memory then it is not necessary that P2 will be given the next block of memory. Continuous memory allocation means that all the memory blocks that are given to a process would be allocated in a continuous fashion i.e. if a process requires 2 blocks both of them will be next to each other (But it will definitely be one partition containing 2 or more memory blocks).
