Still this code is not the most optimal code it can be optimized to O(1) space.

Had a doubt sir,do i need to know arrays,2d arrays,searching sorting,linear search or binary search before starting STRINGS in java???(i want to skip these for some days because my sem exam has only strings)

I have made a couple of videos covering the basics of strings, that should be enough to get started, but yes some knowledge about character array and Sorting strings might be required. You don't need to know actual algorithms now, that you can study after your exams.
