What is it with the fried eggs on the burgers? So many foodie vloggers are into that weird scene. Don't ya realize that 90-99% of peeps are sickened by the sight of all that orangish yellow goo oozing out? Yuck. Way to kill a man's appetite! Much better choices you guys make at Pink's, both your mock Oki-Dog (should be pastrami in there, not bacon) and your mock "Reuben" dog (should be corned beef instead of pastrami, plus there's no bacon on a Reuben, plus where on Earth are the sauerkraut and the Russian dressing? Lol, the Swiss cheese is literally the only Reiubenesque ingredient. And, oh, lol, the bun would really need to be rye.) But all nitpicking aside, both dogs look righteous, even if the NYC Couple doesn't care much for their mock Oki. The ice-cream sandwiches look devastatingly decadent and indulgent but also would seem a little queasy-making after your burgers and dogs. Maybe, though, come to think of it, you can do that when you're young, a word that no longer applies to me. Going for tacos after dessert seems like outright trolling, but, again, perhaps another affirmation of your youth. Question: since tacos al pastor date back only to the 1960s, when the descendants of 19th and 20th century Lebanese immigrants to Mexico started offering the tacos for sale to the public, should we consider this food to be "authentic" Mexican cuisine? What do you guys think? I also wonder what Mexicans would say.

There are so many amazing restaurants in LA. They have everything. All the places you mentioned are places I’ve never been to yet. And I can tell you some incredible places if you ever go back. Like Porto’s Cuban bakery in Burbank. Or in the area you toured Rahels Ethiopian. Bibimbap at anywhere in Korea town LA. The original farmers market has so many incredible food stands that you could stay there all day for breakfast lunch and dinner and never run out of amazing options you want to try next. InLA but closer to Santa Monica and Torrance there are so many great Japanese restaurants and noodle houses like ichmi Ann bamboo garden. Cash only but best soba ever. Unlimited tea of a choice of three different kinds, green, barley snd soba noodle water

my taco hack - split the taco fillings evenly between the 2 tortillas.. So you get 2 tacos.. its less messy but you feel like you stretch the tacos to maximum bliss

I love Leo’s and MILK. Pinks not so much. The Tres Leches and Blue Velvet cake are my favorite things at Milk and the Al Pastor Tacos at Leo’s are great and cheap but they’re better at night when they bring the spit out.
