Also, car companies gave licenses to L.A. Noire because you play as ''good guys'', For GTA they don't give licenses because you play as ''bad guys''.

Yes, Packard, Hudson commodore-super six-greater eight-hornet, La'Salle, Nash Ambassador, Kaiser/Frazer, Studebaker champion-commander-presendential. I'm glad they left when they should, not brought into the safety regulated design damped world of the mid 1980s to 1990s and then turned into wet plastic with revolting sets of rims.

Tip for anyone who's just starting out (with the recent re-release, and all). As you progress through the story, every time you arrive at a new location, take a few minutes to run around and hop into any nearby vehicles before heading to the next location. By the time I completed the story, and collected the "hidden vehicles," I had collected 93 of the 95 vehicles!

its not so hard to find them. My tips are: 1) Always try cars in parking lots, I found almost 2 cars each time. Before finishing Homicide desk i had 70 cars. 2) Some cars driving around, are easy to understand that are first time in the streets. Keep an eye out. 2) Police cars are easy to locate since they are always in crime scenes. 3) Service cars are easy to locate in industrial areas. 4) Bonus cars are easy to locate on the map, after you raise your rank. Its scary how well this works. Go to showroom - Click 'X' (ps3 controls not sure for xbox) on the car you want that is locked - then go to homicide cases, freeroam - The car should be either in the parking lot across the street or driving somwhere near by. WARNING does not work for ALL cars (specifically a few police and service ones)

I Gaming The real reason is because those companies don’t want to in any way endorse what you can do with the cars in gta. Hookers, running people over etc. It’s not company friendly.

@eightysixpcf because in previous gta's rockstar did not have enough money to buy the licencing for each car - these are old cars and licences are cheaper and jay leno helped out - hopefully new gta will have licencing now that rockstar have helped do this....

Call me a lied all you want but I swear to god this is the easiest way to get all 95. 1.) go to the showroom and find the silhouette of a car you haven't found 2.) go to homicide desk free roam 3.) one of the first two cars to pass you should be then one from the showroom

@TheSampson321 What you need to do is mate once you have driven the custom buick drive to the nearest save point a crime scene or a suspects house it will automatically save it to your records if you have auto save on i hope i helped.

You'll notice a lot of general oddities the developers added in for absolutely no reason. Like the 1941 Oldsmobile model having the thickest tires known to man. Those steam rollers were thicker than the semi truck.

Agreed, 1940s was time of incredible stagnation cuz of world war 2 with the cars, everyone was busy creating military equipment. It wasnt until 50s when it finally advanced some more and came with design shift, it was still streamline-y. 1930 and 40s cars are still nice ofc, but you cant deny that cuz of the war it just stalled in fullstop with design and tech in them. I like Phantom corsair the most - it is 1940s batmobile :v
