How kind of all of you. I have never been to LA (of course!) but Shark was there several times in the mid 1970's. The area where she stayed has burned. It was close to the Hollywood sign. She is sad. May this be another reminder to all of us. Humans, we, too, need a go-bag, with some supplies in it, and a way to get us out quickly. As for us guinea pigs, well, if there is clear danger and your human says you must evacuate, do your very best to cooperate. So many sad situations in the world lately. Love to all, Princess Petunia

Seeing your beautiful piggies enjoying their lives has helped me to overcome the sadness that I feel when I think of the devastation that has happened in LA. My heart hurts for all the people and their pets. I think of all the wild animals who call those hills their homes, I am heartbroken to think how terrified they must be with all the surrounding destruction. My prayers to everyone who lives in LA.
