Is there anything that sounds truly “audiophile” grade out there yet? These sound better than the Meyer’s I am seeking to replace. However, the phase, diffusion and other issues are still there on what you played, and at every live PA demo and show I’ve heard to date. We do not care at all about price, but are looking to see if there is anything truly ‘musical / audiophile’ out there yet. All have sounded fatiguing, a bit (or a lot) shrill and hollowed, like other L’Acoustic, Meyer, … gear.

The assembly mechanics is very interesting, it is safety at 6, 8, 10 ... 15 meters high and the L Acoustics boxes are rather well designed at this level, I mean at this level. Beyond that, I am absolutely not a fan of this brand which has never made a single loudspeaker or amplifier (thanks Lab Gruppen) On the other hand, on the communication and marketing side, this brand is a champion. This is problematic when it is necessary to change a loudspeaker because the brand does not give the origin of manufacture, nor the information if it is a loudspeaker of series (in a manufacturer's catalog) or manufactured with special specifications. . And, it's problematic in terms of availability. No one ever broaches this delicate subject, it is silence. I have never seen a list of L Acoustics stamped loudspeakers with their selling prices. Nothing to see with state of the art superior JBL VERTEC or VTX (best line array in the world audio industry). VTX sound is incredible of high fidelity. It's blending, great blending of course, but ... the best blender in the world is Clair Brothers USA. The design of the box and its interior architecture strongly exudes JBL VTX inspiration.

LA, Meyer, JBL, D&B are among the best you can get now. They understand the issues between even coverage for large audiences, need for extreme spl, low weight and small size while enduring a hard life on the road. "Audiophile" speakers fail to solve the task.
