Dude, those are fun references. My favorite's the Batman voice because not only it's funny, but it was also intense. I think you should add the Homecoming Stark Tech suit to go with the Spider-Man suit collection

I used to watch Your film all the time and I still come back to it every once in a while. It’s since inspired me to make my own fan film (which I just started writing) and it is part of the reason why I want to become a director/writer.

8:48 so funny I remember when Peter from Civil War made those videos and then here you are making them come true. This video brings back so much memories from the GREATEST FAN FILM EVER MADE (even better than lotus) still watch it to this day. From your fan film I was inspired to make spiderman content on tiktok and make my life like spiderman even if I'm not recording myself😅 AND ALWAYS REMEMBER "ANYONE CAN WEAR THE MASK"

I remember back in 2018 when I watched this fan film, and instead of leaving a comment, I ended up messaging you on Instagram directly to tell you how much I loved the films, and how I said I was thinking of making a fan film because I was really inspired by this film, but never had the time or resources to do it. You said that it wasn't easy, and that's true. So instead of making a film, we mostly just talked about cool ideas for something that could happen. Fast forward to 2019, I made a Spider-Man Stealth Suit for Comic-con, and you had asked me if I was still considering possibly making a fan film and I said "Idk man.. it's really hard. And no one wants to be the cameraman" We talked a lot more and eventually became mutual friends, just casually talking about Spider-Man stuff. Fast forward more to 2020, I made a short Star Wars fan film for Drama class at school, and it surprisingly took off well (considering the amount of subscribers I had at the time, which was like 80). I received positive feedback, and my Dad said we should make another because he saw the awesome feedback it had gotten. I agreed, but I said, "Hey, I've wanted to make a Spider-Man fan film since like 2018, so maybe we should to that instead!", and my Dad agreed, and so we did. After Spider-Man: Stealth Mission took off, my friends and family started to release how passionate I really was about film making, and I thank them a lot for helping me every step of the way to make the films possible. And look where we are now. Whilst I was in the middle of making Stealth Mission, I came back to you and told you that I was finally working on one, and you were pumped, and I just wanted to know if you wanted to make an appearance for fun, and to my surprise, you said yes! And that, led to a whole community that wanted more of that, so we talked, and decided to actually make a team up film, and it's finally a reality. And boom, just like that, the movie Spider-Man: Dimension Rift will be out within a couple of weeks or so. - I had a passion for film making before I watched your fan films, but I got inspired to make SPIDER-MAN fan films because of yours. Spider-Man: Homecoming inspired you, you inspired me (and others), and I inspired more. The cycle continues. So thank you Lucas for shining a bright light on the fan film community since 2018, and thank you for also being one of my best, closest, and most supporting friends that I have. Yes, there are a lot of references in your films, but being a young film maker? Sometimes it's impossible to be completely original when making a Spider-Man fan film. I mean, the MCU Spider-Man movies take inspiration from other film makers work too. It's not stealing, it's more of an appreciation of that part of the film, and you like it so much that it's hard not to use in your own film. :)

Did not expect a comment so long but I read it all very thoroughly. Dude what a story, what a journey. Cannot believe your trilogy all started with a such humble beginnings- a Star Wars short film! I’m definitely sharing this when I watch dimension rift! But honestly that sounds like a superrrrr worthy documentary idea too haha, or at least part of the BTS

Danggg, man I’m so happy to hear someone is binge watching my content. Making a Spider-Man fan film is one of the most accomplishing things I’ve ever done in life. It’ll stretch, and strengthen you in so many ways. I’d say if you have a story… most importantly if you have a passion, go for it.

When I first watched your film, I only recognised the title, the interrogation scene, the minor upgrade scene and the music. I had no idea there were 38 references 😮. You’re like the only person who can reference a movie 38 times and still feel original, that’s why I referenced your film a couple times in my film. And I will probably reference it again in shockwave showdown!!!

Well said Dan, I literally had the same thought too. But I guess the lines were so ingrained in my head that I unconsciously referenced so many of the lines. But hey, reference my film all you want, excited to see if I could recognize it or not.
