These old vintage racing bikes ( of which i am proud original owner of 2, re, BH Spain, Campagnolo & Puch, built by Bianchi , Italy, Mistral) their skinny steel tubed frames ,( and aluminum Vitus, Alan ET AL) just look superb collectively compared to the ( no disrespect) passionless plastic jobs they make today. Technical progress has a price and in the case of racing bikes the ART and passion is lost. just my humble opinion.
