Thanks for all your videos in the run up to the Etape, Mike. Managed to get round in 10hrs 28mins yesterday including stops. This descent off the Ramaz was my favourite of the day, it was an incredible buzz

@@CyclingInTheAlps the Ramaz ascent was the worst part for me, the heat around the part of the tunnels was unbearable at points, well done for carrying on!

Thanks Mike all of these have been incredibly helpful. Is there a polite way in France of letting other riders know when you are going to or want to overtake them?

Thanks for your question Ian. That sounds like a good idea for a video! I usually shout "sur votre a gauche" or "sur votre a droite" for on your left on on your right.

Looks like a nice descent - I'm guessing they'll be some absolute rockets flying down it - I'm pretty slow descender generally, so I'll just be trying to keep out of their way

Apart from the Jambaz it’s the least technical descent of the course

Looks like you have been getting alot of rain lately. Any chance that the water restrictions will go away by the time of the Etape?

We've had the usual afternoon thunderstorms but no sigmnificant rain apart from a mega storm last night with 130KMH winds. I can't se the water table changing dramatically in 2 weeks.
