N,aimant pas du tout l'accordéon, l'harmonium, que j,ai pratiqué à contre-coeur pendant trop longtemps ne m'accroche pas du tout. mais comme dans tout il y a de l'exeptionnel qui peut faire changer la façon de voir les choses! Je ne pensais pas qu'on pouvait faire ça avec ce genre d'instrument. Quoiqu'il en soit bravo pour la perf.

Some lovely sounds and new repertoire for me.Merci.I haven't seem a harmonium with stop controls below the manual before.I have an Estey Artists Model made in 1915.It has 7 ranks x 61 notes from FFF plus Sub Bass in the lowest octave of C.Specification 16,8,8,8,4,4,4 plus 16[Sub Bass] plus Octave Coupler up and Tremulant,16 stops and no borrowing or extension.The ranks divide at B/Middle C unlike most French instruments which divide at e/f and are CC compass.Most American instruments have suction bellows and most French have pressure bellows.The suction bellows instrument was developed in Debain"s Paris factory and workmen from that same factory went North America and set up business and the suction instrument gained enormous popularity in the USA and Canada.Both instruments have their own particular charm and character and both in my opinion should be called Harmonium as the the were developed in Debain's factory and he Patented the name Harmonium.The suction instrument should be acknowledged as French rather than it's common and in my view incorrect name "American Organ".What do you think?Musicianship par excellence.Merci.
