If without vibrato, I sometimes feel that his cello sounds like a midi cello sampler sound. like no one else...
Human 👑 madness... Strings players including the soloist with masks and wing players without... The future generations will for sure applause for our progress- evolution.

Gorgeous performance ! I have a question though: are the woodwinds immune from 'covid' ? They are not wearing masks. Very puzzling since it is the woodwinds that are constantly passing air through their instruments. p.s. the individual on the podium is serving absolutely no purpose.
@genericuser78452 жыл бұрын
They have to use their mouths to blow through their instruments 😂 so they physically can’t wear a mask and the conductor on the podium is making sure the orchestra are in time with the soloist

@@organman52 they did? do u expect the winds to play with masks on? u do realise that is impossible right?

@@toastonthecoast2015 You did not respond to my statement. Of course I know that woodwinds and brass cannot have masks on. But OF ALL PEOPLE - THEY are the ones to be blowing air all over the place. That is why I SARCASTICALLY stated that they are immune from 'covid.'

@@organman52 If you played a wind instrument you would know that very little air goes out the instrument. You could play over Donal Trump’s head without messing with his hair. Very easy to understand as the sound comes from resistance forcing air to vibrate a certain way. Without the resistance you’d just blow through a tube producing lots of wind and no sound at all. So they actually don’t push more air than any breathing animal. Don’t believe me ? Same goes with singers : you can drop a feather in front of Pavarotti singing and despite the tremendous sound volume he delivers, the feather would barely be moved away from a straight path down. That is because the huge air column is pushed through vocal strings, larynx, etc and « filtered » so to speak to produce this amazing powerful sound. Very few goes through untouched - in fact, the fewer the best in terms of sound production. Did I answer the question ?
