I know Ermias for a long time and have been one of his followers, too. According my mind, Ermias is not a critical thinker and reader because whenever he reads any books, he takes all their contents as the general truth for granted and presents them as facts to his audiences which is very dangerous for some of his unlearned followers. For example, if one famous man writes a big book and tells in his book that goats in Kenya have wings and can fly, Ermias would accept this truth and spread it as a fact without thinking critically so l can say confidently that it is very easy to mislead and deceive Ermias and the only thing that one must do is to write those deceptions in the form of books so that one control the narratives of Ermias so easily.................Look at how Jawar is controling his narratives now but the sad thing is that he is misleading thousands of people with him , too. SAD.
