I think we all know the real reason these three new "parfums" have been launched at LVMH's Guerlain, it's the new trend dictated by the wallets of fragrance bros everywhere: the beyond potent, the concentrated, the ELIXIR. I find it odd how, gradually, the ones who ended up seeking the eternal sillage ended up to be men, who, traditionally, have always been targeted with eaux toilette concentrations. Not that I mind, let me be clear, there simply are fragrances who deserve more potent versions. But L'Homme Idéal has always been robust in its tenacity no matter how many 'L'Intense' or 'Extrême' varieties Guerlain have concocted over the years. This L'Homme Idéal Parfum, blessedly, isn't as much about tenacity, as it is about elevating the rather banal 2014 launch, to a place among Guerlain's more exclusive smelling line.

Well, with the exception of Habit Rouge, none of the parfums hit me as extremely potent. They last well enough and are very pleasant to wear which to me is more important🤷🏽‍♂️
