The thing about Simon that makes him such an interesting and deep character is that he's a man out of time. Imagine for a moment you're living your life one day, and the next you're 1,000 years in the future. Everyone you knew and loved is dead. Your house might not even be standing anymore, and everything you used to like to do is considered a relic. Riding your bike? No, that's ancient! Ride a hovercycle instead. Watching TV? Switch that old junk out for some microchip-based entertainment! You are lost without a way to return. Without your when and the people from that when, you have nothing left. You become someone without anything, which can either lead to depression like in Simon's case, or you can choose to eventually accept this and try to make the most of when you are now, like Simon eventually will.

I like when things were before 2015… those were the best times… I used to ask a boy out we spend time and almost got our first kiss until 2016 he told me he was gay, left. I even lose so much friends, well only 5 which they’re no longer with me they just move on, and I didn’t know all these times they were gay… they still insist wanting me to become like them but I denied the offer or being like them because I’m straight… and places are changing too which is sad some I don’t even recognized anymore…
