Effectivement une très belle mise en scène. Les voix superbes. Je ne peux pas vous aider dans vôtre recherche mais sur le plan vocal je vous recommande l'enregistrement avec Marylin Horn (isabella), Samuel Ramey (Mustafa), et dans le rôle d'Elvira Kathleen Battle. Cette cantatrice était alors peu connue, je l'ai vu sur scène dans ce rôle avec les autres artistes que j'ai nommé. C'était il y a quelques années (ça ne me rajeunit pas), mais je vous conseille d'acheter ce CD. Une pure merveille. Cordialement à vous

Je me démande si Menandre, Plaute, l'auteur inconnu de _Querolus,_ et/ou quelqu'un d'autre parmi les dramaturges anciens comiques écrirent une farce avec une histoire similaire. (Pas Térence; tous ses pièces sont connues et ont survécu, et il n'y a aucune pièce comme ça parmi elles). Ce serait bien sûr une coïncidence, mais pas improbable.
