Im a Chiefs fan-- and first and foremost i want us to keep sneed. Extend him on a 4 year deal thats really a 3 year deal, with an out. Pay him the next 3 years while trent mcduffie is on a rookie deal. Once trents rookie deal is up, we can pay him and let sneed go.. our defense was what it was this year BECAUSE we had two #1 CBs. Sneed and McDuffie were amazing. They shut every body down. No other team in the league except MAYBE the jets could say they had a tandem like us. If you have something THAT special-- you do whatever you need to, to keep something like that together. That said--the way this is trending -- not letting sneed go for anything less than a 2nd and a 4th. Hes more valuable to the team than whatever a 3rd round pick will get us. Forget that. If thats all hes gonna get, let him play 1 year on the tag and ahoot your shot at the 3 peat.

Chiefs have between 9 and 10 mil in cap space. There is no way they can afford both. Trade Sneed and the Chiefs will have about 28 or 29 million in cap space, enough to sign Jones.

I think Sneed gets traded for a 1st round pick either to the Lions or Cardinals. He was a 4th round pick and in his 4 years with KC has made just under $6m, so i don't see him willing to take a lesser offer from KC. He was the best corner in the league last year so him going to the Lions would be quite exciting.

As a Chiefs fan we want to keep Jones and Sneed!! Aware of the cap space we are almost certainly not going to be able to do that. I hope he doesn't go to Philadelphia, even if he has that flying bird thing down, thw fan base is toxic! He's a great player and even more, he's a great person. He deserves to be appreciated. He and Trent are the best corner's in the league. Hard to let good people go 😢. If we want to go for three we really need to keep Chris Jones. He's a game wrecker! But would we have been there without Sneed's contributions? Football really is a team sport! Hoping Veatch can work his magic!

Chiefs are gonna get a 1st round pick. If a team is willing to pay him 20 plus million they’re willing to part ways with a 1st round pick. Won’t be a top 15 pick but it will be a 1st round pick.

I think he’s traded for pick 50 or later. It’s always hard to justify trading a first and paying him top of the league money when 1. The CB class this year is phenomenal and 2. The FA class this year is phenomenal, especially at positions of value.
