在西天取經的路上，孫悟空（張衛健飾）三打白骨精（陳妙瑛飾）被唐僧（江華飾）趕走後，豬八戒（黎耀祥飾）化名為英雄，行俠仗義，這一回是全劇經典的經典。
這表達了豬八戒的夢想，他既笨，武功又爛，孫悟空在的時候又要受他欺負，現在孫悟空走了，於是他去園他的夢去了。化名為英雄，就可見一斑，豬八戒的英雄夢，他夢想成為英雄。
在寶像國公主（張沅薇飾）瘋狂地喜歡上他後，他更得意，於是打算放棄取經大業，留在此地。可是他很笨，豬腦又能想出什麼好辦法呢？於是他打算裝死，拿一隻死豬來蒙混過關。
到最後，唐僧被變成黑熊，老沙（麥長青飾）被八戒錯手殺死，寶像國及心愛的公主也被白骨精害死。八戒如夢初醒，犯罪感由此產生，覺得一切的結果皆因
他而起，自責不已，於是找回悟空重回取經大業。
公主死前和豬八戒對的“昨夜星辰昨夜風”又是感動了多少少男少女。
“多情自古空餘恨，此恨綿綿無絕期”……

I previously watched these series from VHS. It's very generous of TVB to share this on KZbin. 28 years have gone by, I still find every bit entertaining and exciting. Love all cast members, and really appreciate the great effort and hard work every single TVB staff put in for viewers'. Excellent actors Dicky Cheung, Kwong Wah, Law Lan, Lau Kong, the Goddess of Mercy, and every actor involved, . Truly another marvellous production of TVB, gracious thanks again, TVB Mystery channel !!

The line at 24:28 is so cold were it not for the delivery. Dicky can make an actual threat sound very mirthful despite the context. For reference: "You were born as a demon. I was born to track demons. You can only blame the heaven's decree for your fate. Now you die." In any other context, this is an insanely cold line.
