英雄惜英雄。Perhaps, that's why he's the great player in the sport... :)

Lin Dan was saying Lee was not any inferior to him in terms of skills and talents, even claiming he might be the best in the world. The only difference is their nerves and mental toughness.
Look on the positive side, he worked so hard and really improved a lot compared with last match with LD... he has the olden Chinese's attitude... it's a good example for us to learn...

(i hope yall dont mind about typing in English on a Chinese video, but i seem to express my thoughts a lot better in this language than Chinese) i agree, Lin Dan is perhaps one of the best, talented, skilled players in badminton history, but Lee Chong Wei is such a strong player in any area of the court. his offense and defense is strong, his net, midcourt, and baseline game is strong, his playstyle is unique, he is skilled and experienced enough to insert variety into his playing, often catchinf opponents off guard, and he is extremely consistent (unlike some players, which will not be named, and youre free to interpret it as you will), owing to his remarkable discipline in training

So glad that the badminton sport has Lin Dan and LCW, who both have such good sportsmanship, as the representations of the very top level.

no matter who's the best.just don't be arrogant.both of them are the best.I support you,lin dan.
Yes he's right... He went through a lot because of desire to outrank LCW. He went through hell training that he doesn't like but because of LCW is way too far ahead... He had no choice. Thank you LCW who has been the world no. 1 in the heart of the world even though he didn't manage to get one gold but he's always the gold in the heart of the people around the world... What's the point even though you get the gold but the highest respect was not to you... Even though LCW got the silver but he has the highest respect with highest quality from around the globe. Obviously, who cares who gets gold or silver... I have the respect for both person but highest respect to LCW more than Lin Dan even though Lin Dan won the gold... In my heart LCW has always been the gold... So LCW won the heart of the world with highest respect been world no. 1 but lin dan only won the gold... So the difference is big because if there are no LCW then there will be no lin dan. Simple as that
Something I would like to share: Personality on court may not represent the personality in real life. On court you should behave like a warrior in a battlefield, this is what is most special of Lin Dan, he has the character of a warrior. In real life you should behave like a gentleman like as for example Lee Chong Wei. Do not mix up both personalities in life.
@yin2g I totally agree that it is part of his true self. But I think that's how one should behave on court, it may be non respectful but it is human, and I personally approve this because I think this is how a warrior should behave. Lee Chong Wei's behaviour is ofcourse non reproachable because he's a gentleman in and off court, but I think he should show some agressiveness, to be an even better player, which he has shown in some recent encounter with LD, which I totally approve and agree with.
