"Lonely Won't Leave Me Alone", Cantonese cover version is better than the original English version. George Lam just beats the original in so many ways, eg. George Lam, being an original voice (among his Hong Kong peers), strong, masculine, yet he can sing bloody high notes with relative ease. He doesn't strain his voice when he hits high notes, which is commendable in the Hong Kong pop music scene. He also displays a mature, calming demeanor on the performing stage, which is somehow pleasing to the eyes of his audience. I believe he's popular among older ladies who likes his certain charming charisma. He's hardly offensive and has a large and loyal fan base. He's our Man. 🥸

Absolutely rubbish bro!! Jamaines voice is top n silky as is Glen’s version (warm tone without yelling). This version sounds flat in most areas except the chorus which Lam excels in shouting/yelling style which his is famous for. And forget the masculinity rubbish. He just yells n screams. Listen to Australia’s Jimmy Barnes, beats him hands down in that department. As for HK singers comparison, his a few levels below Jacky, Danny and Hackien Lee. Masculinity wise have a listen to Kenny B’s voice. Hits highs and lows with a husky flavour to match. You have much to learn. I suggest you remove some wax in your ears bro!!
