The song title should actually translate "Blood Shades In The Distance", the translation "Shadows of Blood" that was given by the German rerelease gives it an unnecessary gothic twist, when it is actually a rather existential song. I have heard it in fashion shows like Hermés and Chanel and even though I'm greek I didn't even know of its existence. This is an exquisite piece and the only greek song I'm able to listen to. Unique lyrics and beat ahead of its time and Lena's voice is so soothing. This is probably how a modern rhapsody should sound like. 🖤
