I love it, I also want her to sing more songs like this with the wagakki band members, but then it wouldn't be the same, since wagakki incorporates traditional Japanese into rock and Yuko does shigin when singing, but not here. I can hear the difference between her solo and when she sings for wagakki, but I love both. This is really cool, Yuko is one of those rare artist in which I feel she does amazing in different genres.

Like for me, I sing with a lot of vibrato in my voice, and it is very difficult to cut out for when I swing swing or jazz for different music types. Her haveing no hint of her style of singing in wagakki band is a tremendous feat, Once you sing a certain way for so long, it becomes a habit and killing it for a different sound can be rough.

I've listened to all the songs in her solo album and yes this is completely different music style from what we saw from her in Wagakki Band or Hanafugetsu. At first I can't understand why she wants to do solo while being vocals of 2 bands already but now I've changed my mind

Don't you worry, she's actively working on both Wagakki and her solo carrier, we're bound to have more from her on the near future.

Yuko is a real genius (so do the others in Wagakki band). She can compose and sing. She is a piano and 剣扇舞 master. She can be traditional and modern. She can be an unreal idol in MV and an easy-going host on TV. She can handle different styles - pop, folk rock (Wagakki), traditional shigin and emotion song (hanafugetsu). Not mention her cooperation with different groups in her early stage.
I really like this song by Yuko Suzuhana. I think Japanese singers have a beautiful voice, nothing is better. 😍🥰😀😊

No One has even mentioned the fact that Yuko-Suzuhana is the lead singer for the "Wagakki Band" and they are playing the back ground music.

It's funny because I don't speak Japanese, but occasionally understand a few words in a song because I've watched too many anime... On the other hand, I understand how you feel. Songs can distort the regular pattern of a language and then you don't even realise that it's your native language until he/she sung a good part of the song... Dialects can be even worse. I'm a native German speaker, but it did happen in Switzerland that I needed to talk in English to another German speaker, because their dialect was way closer to Dutch than Deutsch...

Yuko's angelic voice sent chills of joy down my spine, and made me cry. I adore Yuko.
I like her voice, there's a little bit of Ayumi Hamasaki in her high pitch. And this mainstream song shows that she does have the range and flexibility beyond her usual shigin singing style. No wonder Avex keeping her.
@TheSeeking2know4 жыл бұрын
Exactly. She's really versatile. One of the most unique mainstream singers and with impeccable technique too. I would love to see her and KEIKO from FictionJunction sing a ballad as a duet, or maybe a triplet with Yuriko Kaida also from FictionJunction. That would be very classically oriented and beautiful.
