Thanks!! There are a few reasons... one, I don't have a grand) I do have a Yamaha upright, but I don't have a sound recording system to do it justice. The advantage of the keyboard is that I can capture the MIDI data from the performance and make that available to pianists who want to use my arrangements. The MIDI also helps my sheet music transcribers figure out the notes I played.

Also, since you asked... I am getting a gorgeous Yamaha grand piano in May. It is the piano that I grew up playing on, and I am planning to invest in a killer microphone setup, so, probably starting mid/late summer, you'll be seeing me record more on the grand.

Unfortunately, the score doesn't have chords on it. Sometimes my transcribers don't add the chords, but I usually have them add chords for jazz tunes like this. Maybe I can get the sheet updated with chords.
