PASS on the lip fillers. I feel like the trend is already on its way out TBH. Not that it should be about the trend, but social media can be too influential even on subconscious level. I personally have very thin lips and I'm only 21. I am not looking forward to my lips thinning out as I age, however I would rather just make the most of the features I have and not look towards synthetic materials and procedures to feel like I better "fit-in" with the crowd. There's a reason why people experience health problems from fillers and implants, and it's not because it's something that naturally wears down over time (like aging). It's because we are putting something into our body that doesn't belong and once we do it, our body realizes that there's something inside it that should not be, and works to try to get it out. Save your money girl

To comment on the lip fillers. I have a thin top lip...and I LOVE IT. I guess because i stand out from the crowd, kind of like i don't follow what society says is beautiful (at the moment) i have learned to love and embrace all my "flaws" (i say that in quotations because to me they aren't, but to some it might be. Idk,idc, I LOVE them all💖

I have a friend who did it recently and they said the worst part of lip fillers really is the swelling, the needle, etc. But the results look nice. I don't know If I'd ever do it myself because as you said, it's temporary. And I think there's this big void in the beauty space right now for natural lips, which sucks because a lot of regular consumers don't have the money to just plump them up. Don't get me wrong - they're trendy and look nice but when I see lip swatches it's always harder to see the fault in the product vs what it would look like on regular veiny, wrinkly lips.
