i use it all the time but we still need a stronger one under heavy light pollution on emission nebulae. But for galaxies it has to be broadband like this one. So far so good

@@chrisgreen1605it's a good filter to use. With the astro camera we should use at least the IR/CUT filter. This one cuts more light pollution though. I'm following your progress and you said you're on bortle 3 right? You may not need a strong filter on B3, just IR/UV cut.

@DobsonianPower yes I have a IR/cut that came with the zwo kit. I also have a uhc and a couple other I tried for visual but visual was better without. I don't think they are useful for anything under a 12 in apature. Orion on visual is great through the 8in dob and 9mm 100deg. Even can see colors. As far as eaa I'm getting the hang of it pretty well with the software. And processing. And neat was a huge improvement.

Hello, excellent review, in your opinion, in a bortle 4 sky, which is better between L-PRO and L-QEF? have you tried this filter with nebulae too? Are the results the same as with galaxies?
