For $450, I would definitely spring for one (or several) of these, but... I will need to see a comparison of this against a great mic in a great studio, from an independent source. And it will need to sound pretty much the same. If not, I see no point in choosing this over a Lyric or Anthem.

NAMM is never a good place to listen to demos but it sounds good to me. Definitely one of the most natural systems I have heard.

$450 on Sweetwater. Will need to see a much better demo of this before I drop that much on it. At first glance, I hate the big honkin' control unit sitting in the sound hole. Doesn't look like there is any room to fit a feedback buster. This thing better not feedback at all with this limitation or it's a big Nope for me.

I agree with you on the control unit, it's too big.... I'm wondering if the Duet system was that necessary.... My anthem in humming like there is a grounding problem. My luthier and I cannot find the problem and the pickup needs to be replaced. I'm lookin at the Hi-fi ...

I guess if you hate the sound of a mic’d acoustic then yes, it sounds awful.
