I agree that it’s absurd to think that something can come from nothing. I also think that Christianity is absurd for multiple layers of reasons. One that you may appreciate as a seemingly logical persona (L) is the LPT. Are you aware that the doctrine of the Trinity has a problem yet to be solved since its conception? 1. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are each God. 2. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not each other. 3. There is exactly one God. Every proposed explanation of this problem is either a form of heresy according to Orthodox trinitarianism, or it entails a rejection of classical logical principles.

You are limiting God to your basic human level of understanding. You are limiting God to mathematics by saying that 1+1+1 ≠ 3. It wouldn’t be logical for me to limit a spiritual being to just one branch of knowledge.

You can’t observe spiritual things with your senses. While someone could make the argument you illustrated (1+1+1), this isn’t what I was getting at. The problem ultimately sets in when you realize: 1. Everything we come across in our human experience, that we know to be created, has both a creator, as well as a purpose (meaning nothing can come from nothing, which we agreed to). 2. The creator of that thing has both the intelligence to create the thing, as well as a predetermined will or purpose for this things creation. 3. Both intelligence and will/purpose entail reasoning and logic are in play, as the opposite is evidently and demonstrably true. For example, when someone is new to Kira, using the death note in the open, we know they do not understand the purpose of the game. And of course, we both agree that God created the universe and everything in it. Therefore, we know at the very least that God has to have the intelligence and will to create the universe, to fine tune the world for sustainability of life, to set the laws of thermodynamics, the laws of logic, the scientific parameters, etc. The logical conclusion is that God who created the laws of logic, fine tuned the universe, etc. must understand them better than anyone else, as he willed for these things to be exactly as they are, and not some other way. This choice entails logic and reasoning. Side note: science has no tools with which it can prove or disprove the supernatural. This is because (among other reasons) science obeys the philosophy of science, which presumes naturalism as an axiom. It would be like trying to measure someone’s weight with a tape measure. This is why the majority of the world’s scientists across time have been theists, the two fields are not exclusive.

True. Properties of God can sound absurd to us human. Like how is God omnipresent? He can be in America, India, and Japan at the same time? Me being one body limited to physical reality that stuff sounds far-fetched and illogical. BUT I come to the realization I'm not smart enough to figure out all of God, cuz I am created, I have limitations. I CAN'T know who God is on my own, but rather God has to REVEAL to us who he is, how is he like, what does he like/dislike? What I'm getting at is that the reason I believe in the trinity is NOT because I can logically comprehend it. The belief, ultimately, comes from the trustworthiness of Jesus Christ. The way Jesus lived, taught, and resurrected 3 days later after his death SHOWS me that I can trust him. Jesus had preached monotheism, and he also preached that he was God, the Father was God, and the Holy Spirit was God. Since Jesus is trustworthy, so do I hold those same beliefs. TL;DR Due to our finite, physical perspective, a lot of what God can do will seem illogical. Just because you can't give a confident answer to the trinity question, it doesn't prove anything. Jesus claims the trinity is true and that God is a logical being. I have faith in Jesus and that faith comes from his resurrection.

it's mostly due to your lack of understanding of metaphysics and how ontology can function when not confined by the material world. Persons of God are separate from the being of God in that they are not the same thing as the 3 persons can share one nature/being at the same time. Thomistic and trinitarian monarchism are defiantly ways to explain how to trinity functions although I believe Thomism has the better explanation in regards to the trinities existence. Basicaly it has been explained you probably just don't understand it or are ignorant to the existence of the argumentations for the trinity in actual philosophy. While we can't know everything we can certainly conclude a lot of things if God can know them we can certainly find ways to learn most things as well.

There are also really bad side effects of doing those types of procedures. E.g abnormal connections between the urethra and skin, nerve injury, infection. God has warned humans of many things but we have always ignored him until it was too late. If you can show me that these operations are completely harmless, feel free to try to change my mind. I personally believe that a lot of people seek an operation like that because they are seeking identity. Whatever operation they do will just give them a pseudo happiness and no actual fulfillment. If you are telling the truth and they really are happy, then i’m sorry. God has given us free will so who am I to judge them? If your trans friends are really happy then great.

The Bible is written like a historical document with timelines, family trees, and eye witness testimonies. You can say: “how do we know for sure that Jesus really lived the way he lived just from some ancient texts?” But I can ask anyone who the first president was and they would say George Washington. We know these people from this ancient text, historical evidence, and their impact on the world today.
