My best friend made me promise many years ago that I would play this at his funeral if anything were to ever happen to him. He died in 2014. There were many people who wouldn't understand it's significance at his funeral.. But there were 5 of us who had travelled for hours from Melbourne for the funeral. All of us had kept it together for most of the ceremony but when this came on we lost our shit.. and none of us can hear this track without crying now. Thank you Oliver. All of the music you've produced over the years has had a profound impact on my life and the lives of so many others who were lucky enough to have been around for the early days of Raving... You are a true genius and ahead of your time. :')

30 years young and one of the only tunes from the era that still sounds fresh today. lots of the german trance tunes have not aged well from the early / mid 90s but this is still a massive tune today. big respect to oliver lieb for creating a masterpiece.

Just listened to this for the first time in twenty odd years. Such a bittersweet tune. Amazing nights that shaped who I am, and I'll never see them again, but I'm so glad I was a technohead in this era of dance music. Mr Lieb and his contemporaries helped shape dance music as it is today. Magnificent tune.

David holmes essential mix 93 is where I first heard it too…. That whole set is amazing, heard it live while cruising about the countryside in a car with mates while out my box! Pretty sure that was the first time radio one played anything like that!

This tune always reminds me of the night David Holmes played the Pelican club in Aberdeen in late 1993. This tune absolutely tore the roof off of the place. It is a true masterpiece and a timeless classic. 🙂
