Hello Raymond, nice video! I would like to ask you should I choose M10-P or M10-R? ( I am also using M9M and SL1 now)

If the red dot 🔴 is not a concern, I’d go for M10R instead of M10P, higher pixel photo will last longer. And the black paint on M10R is really sexy.

不知樓主是否知道以下兩個情况？ 1. M9的sensor有自動爆裂的問題，Leica厰初期提供免費更換，後來零件用馨索性不予理会，只可以補錢換M10 ，所以市面上二手M9充斥兼價錢不貴。 2. 机身穿相机带的耳仔無故鬆脱，随時整部相机堕地，Leica廠當年承諾免費修理机身，镜頭就貴客自理，丹麥著名攝影師兼發燒友Thorsten Overgaard因此摔壞了他的90/1.5。 我四十幾年前開始用Leica，鏡頭質素無話可説，但機身自R3和M6開始就問題不断，令我非常失望，希望將來能改善。

我從M8 開始，即刻面對UV-IR cut 問題，Leica 處理手法 (送兩塊filters 俾你) 俾人形容為「打傷人送 兩塊膠布」。 跟住M9又被揭發 sensor腐蝕問題，今次更惡劣，只在 頭幾年免費修理 (但我極少用 頭幾年病徵未出現)，咁就慘啦，以後就要自己俾錢啦。 咁嘅 aftersales 估計日本廠至臭朵嘅Sony 都唔會發生。 記得有部Canon 都係 sensor 有問題，過咗十年都免費修理。 我決定在有生之年 唔會再有第三部 Leica，就算靚到識飛都係咁話。

視乎個人攝影習慣及喜好，普遍朋友一般會考慮35或者50 mm鏡頭，35mm F2 & 50mm F2 都係十分優秀的入門鏡頭☺️

hi raymond, love to hear others' story and sharing experience. just being curious, why do you choose to purchase from overseas rather than the leica shop in hk? probably because this is the fastest way to get the m11 i bet :) btw, i think their analogue camera is a lot robust and trustworthy. i experienced a pretty bad experience with my m9p years back which was scary. i thought i lost all my anniversary photos taken in maldives... and later the ccd corrosion issue... i am now using SL2S with m lens... find it enjoyable ;)

Losing photos of a memorial trip is all photographers nightmare. I had similar experiences when I was in Barcelona holiday. My new Panasonic broken second of the trip 🥶 and on another trip in Loften in Norway, my friend whole set of Nikon blow away by strong wind from a high cliff to sea shore, all photos of the entire trip and equipment gone 😢

@@chakandassociatesLLP i heard the service fee could be different for parallel goods if you ask leica hk to servicing. having said that, if you send the camera directly to service center in overseas it could be a different story. leica hk try to convince us to get the camera from them which is understandable haha

@@chakandassociatesLLP oh dear. heart breaking moment. totally unforgettable. luckily i managed to restore those photos myself at the end. the experience was horrifying. i find their digital cameras have been gradually improved over generations which is nice.

路過入左來少少中毒 不過唔捨得買 相機真係要鐘意部機先會影得多 技術先決係好重要 我冇技術又冇乜＄ 唯有用 Nikon. Nikon 都一樣可以用返幾十年前鏡都好好玩 我玩 leica只能玩m43 不過同真Leica 又唔同級數了
