里山散歩 谷戸に水溢れ、見知らぬ幼鳥・カワセミなど （幼鳥はキビタキ） 2024. 6. 22. （4K）

The rainy season has finally entered the Kanto region. Due to the rain the other day, the amount of water in the stream has been maintained. However, recently there is a concern about heavy rain caused by linear rain bands. I hope that the rainy season, which is expected to be short, will not become very stormy.
関東地方もやっと梅雨入りしました。先日の雨で沢筋は水量は保たれています。ただ、昨今は線状降水帯による大雨の懸念があります。短くなるであろう梅雨が大荒れにならないよう願います。
何時ものビオトープも水があふれていてカワセミが食事中でした。帰る間際に目前に現れた幼鳥はまだ人を恐れず私の相手をしてくれました。種別が私には分かりません。ご教示いただければ幸いです。

梅雨のしっとりした風景、落ち着きます。 オオシオカラトンボの産卵だったんですね！以前見たのですが、何トンボなのかもわからず、不思議な動きをしているなーと思ったことを思い出しました。 キビタキさん、かわいいですね😆

こんばんは。ご覧いただきありがとうございます。 トンボの産卵はこのような単独産卵とオスとメスが連結して(タンデムになって)卵を産む連結産卵があります。また水生植物に接触静止したり今回のようにばらまく方法があります。 キビタキの幼鳥とは初めての出会いで成鳥♂の派手な色合いからは想像できませんでした。保護色でしょうが可愛いですね。里山友達に教えていただきネットで調べて納得です。👍🙏😊🌼🐦🌷🌹🎵

Thank you for sharing this wonderful walk ,I would love to have been there🌸 The young Flycatcher looks like many young birds in my garden just now. I saw a pair very much like your little one and was a bit puzzled as I had not seen any little brown birds like them...then I realised what they were when up from the flower border came a male Yellowhammer and I thought how nice that thes two little brown birds were Yellowhammers.👍 As you may remember, yellowhammers have been coming to my garden for a few years now, but this is the first time they have brought their young so now I know they must have nested here this year. I love to see your nature walks dear Tomotugu and you summer weather looks lovely and thankfully ours has been nice for a few days now and very pleasant today. I have been able to plant some summer bedding plants out. I noticed you still have some beautiful blue hydrangea in flower so the do flower long time for you. The very wet winter and spring has made my one hydrangea covered in flowers. It should be blue but my soil is not good for it so it is very pale. Have a lovely new week dear friend. Fortunately, this biotope is close to where I live and it makes me happy. Your garden looks to be in good condition. I can see the flower beds covered with flowers and lovely families visiting. It looks like the summer in Japan will be harsh again this year. The rainy season began in Tokyo much later than usual. The scorching hot summer is about to begin.
