Almost Every woman in her life (except her aunt who saved her from being r*ped at 9) failed her. Her confidence came when she stood up for herself , against her teacher who is a pedophile . Bright, courageous woman. I always say, no society can ever rise above how it treats its women. Just look around our world today, and we can see.
