They you should expect this aswell.Danilo Galizkiy is the founder of Lviv, and named the city after his son.He was a rusin or rusich (todays belorussian and ukranians, Lviv was under polish rule i agree but people who lived there were mostly ukranians. And the history the one that i learn isn't the one i read in ukranian books i read the one in the internet which is confimed by source.

Lviv is a Ukrainian city now. It was founded by a Kyiv-Rus prince of the Rurykovich Dynasty. He was sent a crown from Rome and was crowned KING Danylo of Haych/Volynia. formerly known as Red and Black Rus in the 10thC. King Danylo ruled from Kholm, now known as Chelm, where his sarcophagus still lies in the Orthodox church that he built. King Danylo founded and built LVIV that he named/Christened after his son Lev. Prince Lev ruled from Lviv and added to this city. Lviv was invaded by Kazimir 3rd from Poland in the 14thC and this city was occupied by Polish Rule until Poland herself ceased to exist. Then LVIV was ruled by Austria for 123 years. Poland only briefly got the city back in 1922, but lost it in 1939 with Soviet invasion- then Germans invaded in 1942- Soviets took hold in 1945 and it was then part of USSR. In 1991 Ukraine formally Rus, rightly got her city back. Unfortunately Ukrainians still do not have King Danylo's body and sarcophagus back as Kholm- now Chelm is now part of Poland. We Ukrainians wait to get back Danylo's sarcophagus and then will place in in Lviv a city that he built and named LVIV.

Niestety historia historią, a rzeczywistość swoją drogą. Tak więc mamy ukraiński Lwów. Szanuję to!

Mr. Pindo I was waiting for that. Could you tell me how you will explain the fackt that Polish King Casimir Great was a founder of several towns east of Lwow. This is your own "logic" that means all this towns are Polish right ? At one time Poland was in charge of Kiev and Moscow, we are not complaining that they are Polish . So ..pindo study european history not canadian/hahlak -Svoboda history created 29 years a go. Rus.Ruthenians , Danilo and Ruryryrkovich has nothing to do with U-kraine
