Lawu definitely has a beautiful mother in law and she looks after her for eating, warns and cautions her about going up and down the steps and lifting items that are heavy. The grandmother will have the baby he or she cooking before it can walk, that’s a grandma for you. The older folks can teach the younger children survival skills especially about growing foods!! My grandmother could really cook I had a garden not far from my home but it’s a shopping center now. I grew watermelon, collard greens, string beans, peas there are different types of string beans and several types of cabbage really all vegetables. I like feeling the dirt and had a six horse power tiller to keep the grass out my garden. I will be “81” in July and miss my garden I had vegetables in my freezer year round. You can, can vegetables in the mason jars because in the south people didn’t have refrigeration like they do now. I just love this family and the togetherness they have among themselves and the community!! I wish I was there for the fresh garden foods. The baby will be cooking next year!! Be blessed!
