BBC you tell us what kind of democracy and freedom the UK had given to HK before 1997? Universal suffrage? No policy brutality? No crackdown and suppression?

Millions of Hongkongese, like Mr. Martin L, are proving to Mainlanders that universal suffrage is only way forward. We may not yet know when that day will come, but for sure it will come.
