In a DC motor, we observe this in the armature winding, which is generally done on the rotor. However, in the case of a squirrel-cage induction motor, we are not supplying any external voltage to the rotor; instead, voltage is induced in the rotor. So, in this case, where can we find the back EMF? Is it correct to think that the back EMF is induced in the stator due to the current flowing in the rotor?
